The Otago Capital LP is an initiative of experienced business executives and investors, led by Tad Witkowicz.
Mr. Witkowicz is a Polish born entrepreneur and visionary who during the past 25 years founded 3 successful high technology companies in the United States. Two of these companies were listed on Wall Street and the third remained private.
Two of Mr. Witkowicz’s companies had significant involvement in Poland. In 1990 Mr. Witkowicz’s CrossComm Corp. was one of the first foreign investors to establish a software development operation in Poland. The Gdansk based CrossComm Poland eventually became what is now Intel Technology Poland.
In 1997, Adlex Inc. established Adlex Poland (also in Gdansk) which was eventually acquired by Compuware, one of the six largest software companies in the world.
Mr. Witkowicz is a partner in several Venture Capital funds specializing in start-up investing. Among the companies which they financed in their early-stage of business growth, many became true landmarks of the high-tech industry, and provided substantial reward to their founders and investors.
